Welcome !

Hiya! Welcome to Nurturing Relationships, where we discuss relationship matters in the light of God’s word; the intention of God as far as relationships are concerned. Before we go into details, let’s examine what a relationship is.

Simply put, a relationship is a way two or more people are connected or get involved. Relationships are formed based on trust or common interest, mutual respect etc.

Four major types of relationship exist: Casual, Professional, Romantic and Family .

Casual relationship is the most basic of them all. This doesn’t involve any kind of commitment. You don't give so much neither is so much expected of you. As a matter of fact, it may only involve pleasantry exchange or a little more that that.

One must have a very good relationship with colleagues at work or in school to succeed, because this is where we spend most of our day and to have it rough here is to live in frustration for most of the day. It also allows people to achieve their career goals and aspirations because it increases their chances of getting promoted and accessing alternative career opportunities.

Romantic relationship on the other hand begins with friendship with added attraction, passion, respect, commitment and intimacy. It is actually the most profitable of human relationship, because it gives people the opportunity of building a lifetime together.

People in family relationships are connected by blood, marriage or adoption. The family is where Love, care and respect are first experienced and learnt.

As a people, we need each other to survive at least in this part of the world, as such it is important, that we make the best of any relationship we may be involved in as this can make or mar us and the memory may stay with us through a lifetime. Life is too short for anyone to want to live in bitterness or resentment.

Till next time when we come your way, stay happy.

It actually made a very good reading. We all at our individual capacity have our unique definition for each classes enumerated. Relationship is golden and let no one get it twisted. .

True talk....There has to be a connection before you can be involved. And when you're involved, you get committed and because you're committed, trust builds up which may eventually lead to a healthy relationship and ultimately...not just a sizzling relationship but a Conflagration of Love.

This is a really worthy conception, relationships form the bedrock of our society and there is need for us to learn how to build and nurture good relationships in all areas of life. Kudos on the works about to be done in this field.
