Speak what you want to see....

Happy new year Good People,

My sincere apologies for MIA last week, was busy about with some Martha Martha things, shey you get?

 How was our new year celebration? Sure it was splendid, I can almost get your response with the grin on your face. It's good to know sha, at least another opportunity to spend some times with our loved ones, but come oo, I hope we didn't forget what we discussed the previous week. For those of us that didn't reach out to our partners during the Christmas, hope we eventually did during the new year, yeah, I trust you guys. Always bear in mind that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Don't always wait to receive, be the giver, even if it's just this time and mind you if you didn't give for the new year, it's not too late yet, you can give at anytime you so desire, not necessarily during special occasion, as a matter of fact, giving should be an attitude.


Enough of this giving gist! It's that time of the year again when people want to start the year with their Maker just as it is at any year end. Hence, people engage in some form of fasting / praying or the other, trying to seek the face of God and to commit the new year into His care.

As usual our, our spiritual leaders / fathers will encourage us to fast and pray as necessary and give out some prayer points to help us during the period. This is fantastic but in all of these, how do we remember to pray for our partners?  Wives, husbands and to-bes. It's is necessary we remember these set of people in our prayers because when they are settled by God, we also are. After all. The bible tells us that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. Speak those things you want to see in them into existence until you see the manifestation. Sebi our book also says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. God knows what we want and need, but he will not likely do them until we ask him.

In summary, we are saying that even as we commit ourselves this new year, we should also remember our partners. It is possible some of them were not the best we expected in the just concluded year or even since we began our journeys together, but we should intercede in the place of prayers and as we do that we believe that it will be accounted to us as righteousness IJN.

Have it in mind that a wise man / woman builds his / her house but the foolish one tears it his / hers down. Let us begin this new year with the demonstration of  wisdom. God will help us IJN.
